Jessica Haddy is the new concertmaster of the Southern California Philharmonic. This performer is highly reviewed and was featured in Riviera Magazines' Best of OC 2014. She is a regular performer at venues such as the Ritz Carlton, Montage, and Pelican Hill resorts in Orange County. Performing with various symphonies and chamber groups throughout Southern California, Jessica is constantly refining her sound and striving to perfect her ability as a concert violinist.
During the summer, she performs with the Emerald String quartet for a concert series in Fullerton. The city of Laguna Beach invites Jessica to perform at the summer concert series, Sunset Serenades in Heisler Park. Freelancing throughout Southern California, she has performed in the Segerstrom concert hall in Orange County and Walt Disney Concert hall in Los Angeles. Jessica performed at the Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles with special guest conductor, Michael Tilson Thomas and assistant conductor to the L.A. Phil, Joana Careiro. That same year she performed with a symphony at the Reagan Library for George W. Bush, First Lady Laura Bush, and former First Lady Nancy Reagan.
Jessica has appeared in music videos with Elton John, Sheryl Crow, Sting, Il Divo and Randy Travis. She has made television appearances performing with Burt Bacharach for the Hollywood Tree Lighting Ceremony and performing with the Golden State Pops Orchestra at the Dorthy Chandler Pavalion. Jessica was also the violinist for the first musical stage production of Quadrophenia written by Pete Townsend of The Who. She has been hired for studio recordings for film composers and pop artists. Her musical styles range from classical to jazz, pop/new/current, gypsy, and tango music. Solo violin or guitar and violin duo create an elegant ambience for you special event! Jessica performs with her husband, Ryan, at private events and weddings. Together they write their own music and formed the group, The Haddys. The Haddys have played in festivals in New York and California. They have been featured several times on KX93.5FM, Laguna Beach's FM station, for their Pearl Street sessions. They have given performances at Laguna Beach's concert series, Sunset Serenades. Playing for local charity events, the Haddys have given back to their community through music. This violin and guitar duo play classical, pop, gypsy and jazz music. The husband and wife duo are highly-reviewed, take special song requests and add an eclectic spin to your special occasion.
